Private and Unique Auckland Travel Experience!

  Despite a bit of a hiccup being picked up at the cruise port, due to some issue with the website, Matthew duly arrived for our three-hour trip. He took us... read more through areas of the city no tour bus would fit through, showed us all the sights and kept up a running commentary. We all walked up Mount Eden for a 360 view across the city chatting all the way.

This was a brilliant way to see the city and there were a few jealous passengers on the cruise ship when they heard what they had missed.

Subsequently, it was decided that it was a mistake to accept our... read more booking as they were fully booked, but they could accommodate us the next day (when the ship had departed), and our payment was refunded. We could, however, have still booked a trip through the cruise company at a much higher price. We decided not to do so. I wonder why they decided to cancel our direct booking after accepting it?? I booked the 2 hours tour and it was the best way to see the most of auckland in a short period of time.
We normally use the tour bus because it's nice to have some information about the city but Kiwi Tuk Tuk was a better option because we could interact with our guide and ask him all the questions we had about the culture. Our guide, Matthieu, was very informative and knew amusing historical anecdotes!! Thanks again for this enjoyable time.

  Today we were treated to a great tour of Auckland by our Tuk Tuk driver and tour guide Graeme. His knowledge of numerous sites in the city was amazing and... read more his banter was brilliant! Our tour crossed the city from ancient historical sites to the waterfront where preparations for the America’s Cup is to be held were underway. A great way to see the city. The Tuk Tuk was very comfortable (blankets and water were provided) and covered should the rain arrive. All in all a great experience. Thanks again Graeme!

  Took the tuk tuk from the wharf across town to the museum because our feet were tired. Boss man he tell great stories of Auckland on the way, great fun.
